What is Schiffenen experience all about?
It’s an experience like no other! You can rent a floating terrace to spend 24 hours on the lake. The experience is limited, with only 10 people per year allowed to try it out.

The crazy Idea
Who am I?
My name’s Olivier, I’m an engineer, but above all I love spending time with my friends on the lake. So one day I had the crazy dream of floating a terrace to combine the two. After a lot of calculations, meticulous planning, 100% home-built construction and Swiss-style red tape, I’m proud to present my latest project: The floating terrace!

Ecology
- The deck is made entirely of wood, apart from the floats, and features an electric motor powered by solar panels.
- The aim is not to disturb the flora and fauna or other lake users.
FAQ
- Conditions: (Be at least 20 years old, respect the laws governing the lake, respect equipement, environment flora and fauna).
- No driving license required.
- Up to 10 people on the deck.

- 200 CHF / Day.
- Price include initial explanation, 24-hour rental and unlimited mileage.
